C&F Finance is in the process of beginning floorplan services for its dealers. As a subsidiary of C&F Bank, which has been in business since 1927, this is a logical next step for full servicing to our loyal dealer base and to expand our commercial servicing to those customers at our bank.
This start up position will be responsible for overall business development, risk analysis of new accounts and recommending wholesale credit lines to senior management. It will involve routine risk management on the wholesale accounts and complete oversight as the segment grows. This position requires an entrepreneurial-type spirit with the ability to work independently. Career growth opportunities are high for the right candidate as this product is launched and grows over the coming years.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and computer skills are required. Strong intuitive, critical thinking, analytical and problem solving skills are essential. Must possess a strong attention to detail. Individual must be a team player who works cooperatively with peers, employees, managers and other departments, along with external customers such as vendors, dealerships, customers, etc.
Must be able to communicate effectively with people at all levels. Able to work independently. Able to understand the auto loan and wholesale industry processes and regulations. Able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment with deadlines and performance standards. Able to present accurate mathematical calculations. Thorough understanding of the compliance aspects of the floorplan industry. Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality. Able to understand and explain both dealer and personal financial statements. Able to motivate and build positive moral within the team by setting a good example with behaviors and daily work habits.
Business Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant work experience required.
